Preservation Salem County: How You Can Get Involved

Become a member: Members receive the newsletter, meeting notices, and other mailings. Members elect the Board of Directors and participate in the activities of the organization. Membership dues support our preservation mission. If you would like to join, please contact us for a Membership Application!

Volunteer: PSCI needs the time, energy and varied skills of interested people to make preservation happen. Volunteer to raise funds, do mailings, write letters, lend computer skills, video-tape, photograph, share your restoration skills, do historical research, write an article, design a flyer, bake cookies, make phone calls, run copies, etc., etc.

Send a donation: A tax deductible donation to PSCI is a community investment with a culturally valuable dividend: the preservation of Salem County's historic architecture.  NEW!  Go back to our Home Page (link below) where you will see a link to PayPal.  You can now pay for membership, membership renewals and other donations using the secure link to PayPal!

New Members: Be sure to print and send membership application so we have your address to send you our newsletter.

Attend Quarterly Meetings: These gatherings are open to the public and offer an opportunity for learning, networking and participating in the organization.

  • Historic Salem  t-shirt, printed front and back with c.1890 view of Market Street: $15
  • Historic Salem  long-sleeved, mock turtle neck shirt, same design as t-shirt: $20 (limited quantities available)
  • Commemorative bricks engraved with your choice of name, to be added to others at our Telegraph Building site on Grant Street in Salem, $100. This tax deductible donation will support the restoration of the building.
